We established Yamane-shuzo in Hanno, Saitama on December 3, 2019.
Hanno is a city under the starry sky, blessed with rich nature and biodiversity.
We pursue our vision to achieve coexistence with the nature and creatures to sustain the ecosystems, which make it possible for us to live in this world, with a positive and active attitude.
UN Environmental Program warns that human beings have been giving destructive damages on the environment and biodiversity.
Their report suggests a million species of plants and animals is going extinct in some decades.
Ultimately, the threat will reach to human beings. What we can do right now is making every effort to preserve this beautiful environment in Hanno, as well as presenting to the world what we do for tackling the problem as a brewer. There is no time to fail anymore.
As of December 3, 2019, Yamane-shuzo hasn’t as yet achieved to the construction of a brewery.
We are not allowed to manufacture sake all within the company so far.
This is because the Japanese authorities have suspended new issuance of the sake brewing license.
We always welcome contacts from other brewers who understand our approach and are willing to transfer the license.
Happily we have already received many massages and inquiries, but unfortunately we are now so busy producing rice and sake that we don’t have time to meet every person.
All we can do is sending replies when we can.
Thank you for your understanding.
As the founder of the company, I devote my life to all the efforts to make our business walk the way together with this city for centuries, in appreciation of the opportunity to make sake in such a wonderful place as Hanno.
Thank you very much for your continuous support to make it possible for us to found the company.
