We use wooden barrels (kioke) made of Nishikawa-zai, lumber produced in hanno, Saitama.

With the lumber we will also develop necessary materials including steamers, warming barrels and koji trays.

We will contribute to reviving barrel industry, which has only one craftsman left in the country.

In the future we hope to start in-house production of the materials with Nishikawa-zai to preserve forests and barrel tradition.
